Where is Love Designs located?

Love Designs operates as an online shop only.  Our base is located in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada). Our primary form of contact is via Email (info@lovedesigns.ca) or feel free to shout out to us on Facebook or Twitter!

What are Digital Downloads?

Digital downloads allow you to purchase the items “virtually”. You can print at home or send them off to professional print vendors like Costco, Staples, Kinkos, or Office Depot just to name a few! You save on shipping with this option and you get the design faster than if shipped.

There are two kinds of digital downloads: Instant Download and Digital Files

For Instant Download items, you will receive a link via email to download the file to your computer, once checkout is complete. Alternatively, after checkout, go to “My Account” or “Sign In” page and you will see a link to download your digital files immediately! Please note that you may only download all digital files ONCE within a 24 hour period. All download links will expire after 24 hours of purchase. If you have any difficulties in the download process, please contact us at info@lovedesigns.ca within 48 hours of the purchase, and we will send you the files to you via email.

For Digital File items, digital files will be sent to you via email with the customization of your design based on the information you provided. Go to the FORMS page after checking out and fill out the specific forms with the information required for your custom print.  (Note: You must Sign in first before submitting the form(s).)

What are Forms? How do I submit the forms?

Certain products require specific information for customization purposes.  You must sign in or create an account with us in order to submit the forms.  There are 4 different forms for 4 different products: Birth Story Form, Personalized Name Print Form, Love Story Form, Family Art Form

Follow these steps:

1. Sign in or Sign Up for a Love Designs account

2. Complete checkout process (order information accessible under “My Account” or “Sign In” page

3. Go to “FORMS” tab on the menu bar and fill out the corresponding form to the product(s) you purchased. If you purchased more than one of the same kind, please differentiate which form is for which product (e.g. specify title of the product / describe design)

What are proofs and when are they provided?

A proof is a sample digital image of what your personalized artwork will look like.  A proof is for you to review that all information you requested is correct and incorporated into the design. Proofs are included on all: Personalized Prints, Birth Announcements / Stories, Love Stories, Family designs.

Please keep in mind that all screens are different and colors on your physical print may show slightly different from your screen. For personalized prints, proofs will be sent within 48 hours for your approval.  Customers have up to 3 days to request for revisions once proofs have been sent out; maximum 3 revisions per personalized print.  Once you approve the proof, a high resolution final copy is emailed to you in JPEG format at 300 dpi for digital purchases.  If ordering personalized prints, all prints are printed on premium matte paper and then shipped out within 3 business days upon proof approval . 8 x 10 prints are printed on 8.5 x 11 paper for easy framing, and can be easily trimmed to fit your standard 8×10 frame. Please note that all custom / personalized prints are non-refundable.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a maximum of 3 proofs / revisions per personalized print.  Additional proofs are subject to a surcharge of $4.95 – $19.95 per revision depending on the kind of revision requested.  An invoice will be sent via paypal and payment must be made in full prior to extra revisions.

How do I submit photos for Birth Announcement / Birth Story products?

We are currently working to installing a file uploader on our website, but until then, we are requesting that customers email the file(s) to us AFTER completing checkout. You will receive an email from Love Designs with your order. Simply reply that email and attach the JPEG or GIF file(s) to email to us.  Don’t worry, if you forget to do this step, we will contact you to request for your files!

Why is my coupon code not working? Where can I find coupon codes?

All coupon codes are case sensitive, so make sure you enter all letters and numbers as they appear.  If a code is invalid, it could mean that the code does not apply to the product or service in your cart. Alternatively, your coupon code may have expired. For all other cases, please contact us at info@lovedesigns.ca.  Like us on Facebook and Follow us on Twitter, or simply register your email (located on our homepage) to receive EXCLUSIVE coupon codes!

Please note that some coupons cannot be used in conjunction with other coupon codes. Free Shipping on orders over $99 (before taxes) is automatically applied without a coupon code.

Form of Payment


What methods of payment do you accept?

Our online shop accepts payments using a credit card via Paypal. Please note that you do not require a Paypal account to use the service. Simple click on “Do not have a Paypal account” when directed to the PayPal page, and you can complete the transaction by entering your credit card information. Joining PayPal is optional!

 Do you charge sales tax?

We are required to collect applicable sales tax(es) if you reside in Canada. Taxes will be charged based on billing address.

 Is my Information secure?

Love Designs is a secure site and personal information submitted is encrypted using SSL technology.  Paypal a secure payment gateway that processes all transactions.  Once payment has been processed, you will receive an invoice via email,confirming your order. Rest assure that all information submitted is private and secure, and will not be shared with a third party.

Return Policy


What is your refund/returns policy?

Digital purchases are non-refundable. Due to the custom nature of our products, returns/refunds are not accepted, with the exception of defective merchandise, or a mistake on our end. We must receive an email within 7 days of receiving your order. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we will work with you to ensure that you are satisfied with our products!

Shipping & Delivery Times


How long does it take to ship out items?

Canada & US Shipping & Delivery Times

Prints will be shipped via Canada Post or couriered within Vancouver.  On some occasions prints maybe shipped USPS (within USA)  if we are on the road! We strive to process orders (printed and shipped) as quickly as possible.

General shipping/delivery times are as follows:

Unframed prints: 5-10 business days
Framed prints: 10-12 business days

For orders with multiple items, the longest shipping time will apply. Business days do not included weekend.

International Shipping & Delivery Times

We are happy to ship worldwide! However, our website currently only processes international orders from the United Kingdom, Australia, and Hong Kong, China. If your country is not listed or if you are only interested in the digital version of a product, please contact us at INFO@LOVEDESIGNS.CA and we will process your order for you!

Delivery time for International packages will take anywhere from 2-4 weeks time, dependent on location.

Expedited Delivery

If you require your order sooner than the estimated delivery time, please contact us at info@lovedesigns.ca and we will work out a quote for you on estimated shipping charges.

International Shipping

For international shipping rates, please contact us via email: info@lovedesigns.ca. We are able to grant you access if you would like to purchase digital products, simply by emailing us with your location and your request will be processed.  Kindly note that international shipping requires longer shipping times. Please expect a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks for standard international shipping. If you require expedite shipping, please contact us for rates.

Local Delivery & Pick Up Options


Local Pickup Option

 

A pickup location is available in Richmond, BC.  Address is 10155 River Drive, Richmond. Complex is called Parc Riviera. Please contact us at info@lovedesigns.ca regarding pickup arrangements as pick-ups must be scheduled in advanced.

Local Delivery Option

We are currently offering a delivery option at a price of $15 CAD for local residents living in the Greater Vancouver area. Postal codes that fall within the delivery zone are:

V6R, V6S, V6N, V6K, V6L, V6M, V6P, V6B, V6C, V6G, V6A, V6H, V6J, V5T, V5L, V5Y, V5W, V5X, V5N, V5P, V5L, V5K, V5M, V5R, V5S, V5G, V5H, V5J

Please note that deliveries will take place Saturdays between the hours of 11am to 3pm. A email notification will be sent to you when your item is ready for delivery!
